Message on the back of the card:
Dear friend,
Will answer your letter for Edna for she is sick in bed has been for two weeks
She has Typhoid Malaria & she is so [really?] not strong enough to sit up in bed
We don’t tell her that she has Typhoid for she worries so
Dr. just told her Malaria
Come up & see her someday if you are not afraid & write her a long letter
She was so glad when she got that letter.
